本书为《公路桥涵设计通用规范》(JTGD60—2015)的英文译本。《公路桥涵设计通用规范》(JTGD60)在JTG标准规范体系中占有重要位置。其中文版于2015年修订并于2015年12月1日实施。本英文版的修订工作经中华人民共和国交通运输部委托由人民交通出版社股份有限公司主持完成，并由中华人民共和国交通运输部公路局组织审定。
